Mobile flu clinic in Kinburn Nov. 27
KINBURN – the city is bringing the flu shot to you this Friday.
“Ottawa Public Health will be hosting a mobile flu vaccination clinic on Friday, Nov. 27 at the West Carleton Community Complex (5670 Carp Rd/) for residents of the community,” Coun. Eli El-Chantiry released in a statement today (Nov. 24).
The clinic will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Upon arrival please speak with the OPH representative at the front desk,” El-Chantiry said. “If available, you will be seen by a public health nurse immediately. Should there be no availabilities at that time OPH will provide you with an appointment time later that day.”
Residents who are unable to visit the mobile clinic on Nov. 27 can visit one of OPH’s fixed flu clinics. More information can be found by visiting ottawapublichealth.ca/flu or calling 613-580-6744.
“Please remember to be COVIDWise if you are attending this mobile clinic,” El-Chantiry said.
Organizers ask you wear a mask or face covering, stay two metres apart from those outside of your household and wash your hands upon entering and exiting. If you feel ill, please stay home and isolate.
