Merge Robotics competes in provincials this weekend
MISSISSAUGA – The 2706: Merge Robotics team is taking their competition robot to the other side of Toronto this weekend to compete in the provincial championship.
Merge Robotics, one of the rare community teams (most are affiliated with high schools) is filled with West Carleton team members and mentors. Just last month the team debuted their competition robot.
This competition, held at the Hershey Centre from Wednesday to Saturday, will be the second of the season for Merge, with hopes of qualifying for the national championship and a shot at the worlds. The team made it to the world championship last year after a very successful run.
