KANATA – A late night single-vehicle collision has closed part of March Road due to a toppled traffic standard.

In the early hours of May 31, officers responded to the intersection of March Road and Hertzberg Drive to investigate a single motor vehicle collision,” Ottawa Police Services (OPS) released in a statement this morning. “The collision resulted in downing of a traffic standard.”

The pole fell to the ground causing northbound March Road being reduced to one lane.   

All straight southbound traffic lanes remain unaffected, however left turns from southbound March Road to eastbound Hertzberg Road will not be permitted.
