WEST CARLETON – Join local politicians this Family Day weekend holiday for a casual chat, but rest assured there will be some skating.

Coun. Eli El-Chantiry will host his annual Free Family Day Skating Monday, Feb. 17 at the Cavanagh Sensplex (5670 Carp Rd.) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is supervised and all skaters 10-years-old and under, as well as weak skaters, must wear a CSA approved helmet.

MPP Dr. Merrilee Fullerton is also hosting a Family Skates day – in fact a couple of them. Dr. Fullerton will host one on Monday, Feb. 17 at the Bell Sensplex from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The MPP will also hold a Family Skate in West Carleton in Kinburn at the Cavanagh Sensplex on March, 16.
