Light Up Dunrobin looking for volunteers

DUNROBIN – With the confirmation of a shuttle service recently, Light Up Dunrobin organizers are looking for a few more volunteers.

It’s a great way to get free tickets and a free shuttle to the hottest show this summer.

The Light Up Dunrobin team confirmed shuttle service to the event from the West Carleton High School and the NorthWind Wireless Fibre Centre in Constance Bay just this week and need a few extra volunteers to help make the transportation service run smoothly.

“We need volunteers mostly at the bus stop locations,” volunteer event organizer Lynda Boland told West Carleton Online yesterday (June 26). “We’ll have a volunteer orientation on Saturday and Eagle Creek Golf Club at 10 a.m.”

Light Up Dunrobin features a slew of up and coming country music stars starting at 3 p.m. Musicians include headliner Kira Isabella, the Cory James Mitchell Band, River City Junction, Kelly Prescott and The Retrogrades.

The event is emceed by Boom 99.7 FM’s Jon ‘Gonzo’ Mark at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
