The special needs program is for both children and adults and runs from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.; parent and tots (ages 2.5 to 4) follows from 3 to 3:30 p.m.; the learn to skate program (ages 5 and up) follows that; and the evening ends with the skating technique program focusing on power, agility and speed (ages 6 and up) ends the afternoon from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.

The program runs as long as the rink does with an end date of “when Mother Nature says so,” organizers said.
