Lanark OPP see 31 crashes over last seven days
LANARK COUNTY – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 31 motor vehicle collisions over the last week.
Between Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Tuesday Sept. 22, officers from the OPP responded to 366 calls for service.
OPP laid charges in two domestic incidents and responded to 13 non-criminal domestic disputes.
On Sept. 15, a 38-year-old resident of Lanark Highlands was charged with two counts of spousal assault. On Sept. 16, a 34-year-old resident of Mississippi Mills was charged with three counts of spousal assault.
Officers of the Lanark County OPP investigated 12 theft complaints during the past week and four incidents of mischief and/or property damage.
The Lanark County OPP investigated four reports of fraud during the past week.
