KCSBN small business e-fair Oct. 1

WEST CARLETON – The Kanata-Carleton Small Business Network (KCSBN) conference will be an e-fair this year scheduled for Oct. 1, from 4 to 6 p.m.

“Local small businesses are essential for our community to prosper and we know you’re eager to join our annual networking event,” KCBSN founder Dr. Rouba Fattal released in a statement this week (Aug. 31. “However, due to the pandemic we didn’t want to put anyone at risk. Therefore, this year with the help of our major sponsors RBC and Ruckify, we’re going fully digital with our small business e-Fair 2020, on Oct. 1.”

The keynote speakers will be Steve Cody and Bruce Linton, entrepreneurs and co-founders of Ruckify, the tool renting app. They’ll share their thoughts on how businesses are pivoting to thrive and grow in the new environment.

Fattal promises the e-fair will feel just like the trade shows you are used to in the past.

“Just because we’re going digital doesn’t mean we won’t have business booths and a chance for you to chat with local owners about their products and services,” Fattal said. “With the help of our friends at eSAX, we’re hosting this event using Remo, a platform that will make you feel like you’re walking at a real trade show right from the safety and comfort of your home.”

The event is still accepting vendors until Sept. 24.
