Kanata man charged with child pornography offences
KANATA – A Kanata man was arrested (July 16) today, in possession of a phone the police say have images of child pornography.
“On Friday, July 12 the Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) received a third party complaint that a Kanata man had images of child pornography stored on his cell phone,” the OPS released in a statement today (July 16). “Subsequent investigation and authorized forensic examination of the cell phone confirmed the allegation.”
Today, the ICE Unit charged Christopher Keating, 42-years-old, of Kanata, with possession of child pornography. He will appear at show cause court this afternoon.
