Join WOCRC tomorrow for Friday Night Family Trivia

WEST CARLETON – Looking for a fun family activity for Friday night?

Take part in the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) Friday Night Family Trivia, ideal for families with children aged two-and-a-half to six years old.

“Gather the whole family on the couch to build your trivia team and prepare to work together to decide on answers to a variety of skill-testing questions, including topics such as colour mixing, popular children’s characters, classic nursery rhymes, and EarlyON virtual content,” the WOCRC released in a statement. “The name of the game is to have fun working cooperatively as a family while being engaged with the EarlyON community.”

In order to participate, your team will need access to two devices (ex. computer, smart phone, tablet, game console, etc.): one device for you to see the questions over Zoom, and the other to submit your family’s answers using the Kahoot website. A link to the Zoom meeting with password will be shared upon registration, and the game PIN to access the trivia game on Kahoot.it will be shared by the host at the beginning of the event. The WOCRC asks you to aim to arrive five minutes ahead to ensure your family can join properly.

The WOCRC has several virtual events in the first two weeks of June coming on. On Mondays there will be a Virtual Zumbini program, on Thursday, June 11 the WOCRC is hosting an event called Power Struggles, on Thursday, June 18 Recyclable Creations, on Friday, June 26, as well as a couple of others.
