FITZROY HARBOUR – Join St. George’s Anglican Church for a late afternoon choral evensong.

The Parish of Fitzroy Harbour is hosting a Choral Evensong featuring The Cranmer Singers and organist and choir director Frances Macdonnell this Saturday (May 4) at 4:30 p.m.

“We will be celebrating a traditional Evensong service with a guest choir featuring The Cranmer Singers of Ottawa, and their conductor and organist, Frances Macdonnell,” the church released in a statement.”

An evensong is a service of evening prayers, psalms, and canticles, conducted according to a set form, especially that of the Anglican Church.

A potluck supper will follow in the Amy Newell Hall.

“So please bring a food item to share,” organizers said.
