Help the WORC plan your free activities
WEST CARLETON – The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC) wants your opinion on the type of free activities they should be providing.
“The WOCRC is planning for the summer ahead and would like to welcome you to contribute your thoughts and vote on some ideas that have been generated for us to offer in July and August,” WOCRC staff released in a statement. “We welcome you to answer this survey with your kids input too, after all they will be the ones hanging out with us this summer.”
There are two target audiences for programming – children seven to 11, and youth ages 12-17.
WOCRC programming ideas haven been broken down into three themes:
1) Recreation
2) Mental Health, Well-being, and Stress Relief
3) Team Building and Leadership
All activities, workshops, and field trips offered will be free. The WOCRC says the survey takes no longer than two to three minutes. To take the survey, click here.
