HCA seeks volunteer for washroom duty
CARP – The Huntley Community Association (HCA) is looking for a volunteer to help keep a public washroom clean and safe for the public.
Now that the Carp splash pad located on the Carp Fairgrounds is open, the HCA wants to ensure families have access to a clean and safe washroom.
“The HCA has decided to open the washrooms at the back of the outdoor rink for families to use while at the splash pad,” HCA director of communications Amy Baldry released in a statement yesterday (uly 12).
The washrooms are thoroughly cleaned daily already.
“We need a volunteer to relieve our regular cleaner on weekends in July and August,” Baldry said. “This would be an ideal position for a responsible student who is looking for volunteer work. All cleaning supplies are provided.”
