Harvest time at Pinhey’s Point
DUNROBIN – Harvest is in full swing at Pinhey’s Point Historic Site.
“It’s time to bring in the harvest, prepare food stores for winter, and make sure the garden is ready for the next growing season,” Pinhey’s Point staff released in a statement. “Discover traditional methods of food preservation with a new theme each week, see heritage recipes in use, and get a glimpse into how early settlers like the Pinhey family planned for Ottawa’s harsh winters.”
