Frost expected in WC tonight

WEST CARLETON – Bundle up tonight, it’s expected to get a little frosty.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Sunday (May 10) evening.

“Near or below zero temperatures are expected to result in frost or freeze conditions overnight into Monday morning,” Environment Canada released in a statement today. “Along with these frost or freeze conditions there is the possibility of snow tonight and Monday morning.”

Near freezing temperatures overnight are expected to persist for much of the week as a cold air mass has settled into the area. May 11 marks the beginning of the 2020 Frost Advisory season for these regions in Ontario.
