Friends of Carp Hills present tick and lyme talk April 14
CARP – With the warmer weather tick and lyme disease isn’t far off.
Protect yourself with information at a Tick and Lyme Disease Research Meeting hosted by the Friends of the Carp Hills (FCH) and Coun. Eli El-Chantiry on Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Carp Mess Hall (2240 Craig’s Side Rd.).
“Epidemiology researchers from the University of Ottawa will talk about a new project in Carp and answer questions,” the FCH released in a statement. “The researchers, led by Dr. Manisha Kulkarni, will be conducting a project on ticks and Lyme disease in the Village of Carp and the adjacent Carp Hills over the next two years.”
