Freezing rain may persist this morning
WEST CARLETON – Environment Canada is calling for freezing rain in parts of Ottawa this morning (Nov. 27) including West Carleton.
“Freezing rain is expected to develop this morning and may persist for a couple of hours before changing over to a cold rain as temperatures edge just above the zero degree mark,” Environment Canada released in a statement early this morning.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.
