Four teens charged in Bayshore swarming

OTTAWA – An attempted robbery near Bayshore has resulted in three injuries and four teenagers being arrested yesterday.

Ottawa police frontline officers responded to a possible assault in the 100 block of Bayshore Drive on March 6 at 9:30 p.m. A victim was robbed and viciously assaulted by four male suspects.  The victim was able to defend himself, which resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to two of his attackers.

The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit has charged each of the four young males (ages 17, 15, 15 and 14) with:
•       Robbery
•       Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
•       Intimidation

All four teenagers appeared in show cause court today.
