Fly-in breakfast at Carp Airport Sept. 29
CARP – Start the day off right with a hearty breakfast and a tour of our local airport this Sunday.
The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter at Carp Airport, will be holding their annual Fly-In/Drive -in Breakfast and Open House on Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Carp Airport.
“Our Breakfast and Open House is open to pilots and the public alike,” association member Ken Potter told West Carleton Online.
Hundreds of people come out from the local community and dozens of pilots fly-in for a hearty breakfast, to view small and large airplanes, aircraft building demonstrations and take in the atmosphere of a busy small airport.
“We are also welcoming anyone with a classic car to come out and display,” Potter said. “Fill up on a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, our legendary home made beans, toast, juice, coffee/tea between 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
“And of course the Carp Fair will be in full swing down the road as well,” Potter said.
Ottawa’s EAA Chapter 245 has been a major presence in the local aviation community for over 30 years.
Finding us is simple;
• Take Carp Road to Russ Bradley Road
• Turn left onto Russ Bradley Road (across from the Irish Hills golf course)
• Go to the end of Russ Bradley Road and go through the open gate
