FITZROY HARBOUR – The Fitzroy Harbour Community Association (FHCA) is supporting young community leaders with a $1,000 scholarship.

“Attention 2019 high school graduates who are now attending college or university, the FHCA released in a statement Aug. 30. “The deadline is Sept. 30 to apply for the FHCA Scholarship.”

Up to $1,000 is available for local students now attending college of university.

“Send a cover letter with information about your involvement in the community, where you are attending post-secondary school, as well as a copy of your two most recent report cards,” the FHCA said.

Please email the information to thepeeper@fitzroyharbour.com. A committee of local community members will review all submissions and select the recipient(s).
