WEST CARLETON – Coun. Eli El-Chantiry is officially launching his bid for YouTube stardom.

In a bid to remain hip to the younger generation, El-Chantiry has launched his own YouTube channel

“I will use this channel to upload relevant City of Ottawa and Ward 5 videos important to the residents of West Carleton-March,” El-Chantiry released in a statement today (Nov. 3).

He already has a couple of videos uploaded.

The Ward 5 public consultation session on the City of Ottawa’s Budget for 2021, recorded Oct. 29 and the City of Ottawa’s statutory public meeting on the draft plan of subdivision at 147 Langstaff Drive, recorded Oct. 27.

“As most of my meetings will be happening electronically for the foreseeable future due to COVID-10 restrictions, I will continue to upload relevant material to the channel I encourage you to subscribe to my channel.
