El-Chantiry seeking Ward 5 GLAD Cleaning the Capital participants

WEST CARLETON – Got a broom sitting in the corner, collecting dust? Pick it up and help Coun. Eli El-Chantiry clean up the capital in Ward 5.

“I’m looking to encourage Ward 5 residents to participate in this fall’s GLAD Cleaning the Capital Campaign which is ongoing until Oct. 15,” El-Chantiry released in a statement today (Sept. 22). “I have received word participation is down in West Carleton-March for this year’s campaign. Please, if you can register as an individual, as a family or as a group of neighbours (with proper social distancing in place) it would go a long way to keeping our ward green, clean and litter free.”

This coming weekend (Sept. 25 to 27) is the fall’s GLAD Cleaning the Capital Campaign.

“I would love to see lots of Ward 5 community participation during this event,” El-Chantiry said. “Reach out to my office if your community has registered a clean up event and I will try my best to attend and help out.”
