EarlyON drop-in centre coming to Corkery

CORKERY – Starting Sept. 23, the Corkery Community Centre will be hosting an EarlyON open drop-in centre for children up to six-years-old.

EarlyON centres offer free, high-quality drop-in programs for families and children from birth to 6 years old. You can learn and play with your child, meet people and get advice from early childhood professionals.

“The EarlyON Open Drop-In you’ve come to know and love at our Kanata location is now expanding to Corkery,” the Western Ottawa Community Centre released in a statement today (Sept. 9). “New programming will start Sept. 23, so mark your calendars and spread the word.”

The program will run Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

There are nearly 400 EarlyON Child and Family Centres, and an additional 700 locations operating out of libraries, schools, parks and community centres. EarlyON is a combination of four programs including Ontario Early Years Centres; Parenting and Family Literacy Centres; Child Care Resource Centres; and Better Beginnings, Better Futures.
