Dunrobin Meat and Grocery hosts charity golf tournament

DUNROBIN – The building may be gone but the spirit remains.

Dunrobin Village Meat and Grocery, long known for their philanthropist spirit of helping others is hosting their 16th annual Charity Golf Tournament.

Tournament proceeds will help support Stephanie, Anne and Audrey Engelberts who lost their patriarch Connor last June.

“It is our hope to raise some funds for the family to use for any future plans and to honour Connor’s memory for the dedicated and community man he was,” Julie and Cindy Delahunt released in a statement.

The tournament is scheduled for Aug. 24 at noon and will commence with a shotgun start at the Irish Hills Golf Club. The cost is $110 per play or $40 for dinner only. The full price includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, dinner and a prize.
