Culvert work to close Thomas A. Dolan, Upper Dwyer Hill roads

WEST CARLETON – Culvert work is coming to West Carleton.

City of Ottawa staff said as of last Friday (July 10) Thomas A. Dolan Parkway will be closed between Stonecrest and Carp roads until August to replace culverts.

“A signed detour will be in place for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists connecting Stonecrest and Carp roads via Kinburn Side Road,” staff released in a statement Friday. “Local access will be maintained.”

The construction of the five culverts on Upper Dwyer Hill Road is scheduled to start the week of July 20.

“Work will last about three weeks,” Coun. Eli El-Chantiry released in a statement July 10. “During the construction, Upper Dwyer Hill Road, between Panmure Road and Grainger Park Road, will be closed.”

There will be a detour in place via Kinburn Side Road to Donald B. Munro Drive to Panmure Road. Local access will be maintained.
