Couple o’ culvert replacements
WEST CARLETON – As we hit the dog days of summer, road crews will be working in West Carleton doing a couple of culvert replacements which may affect local traffic.
From Aug. 12 to Aug. 16 (weather permitting) a culvert on Rochon Way will be replaces. The four-day project will close a section of the road between Dunrobin Road and O’Hara Drive. Notifications signs will be posted and local and emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout.
Over on Kilmaurs Side Road traffic is also being affected as a culvert replacement which started Aug. 6, is expected to continue for three weeks (weather permitting). The closure is required for the replacement of an existing bridge culvert. Detours will be in place and only local traffic access will be available.
