WEST CARLETON – The councillor’s Ninth Annual Ward 5 Food Drive is underway and ready for your food donation.

“Shout out to the residents of West Carleton-March,” Coun. Eli El-Chantiry released in a statement. “If you can help those in need in our community this Christmas season, please take part in my annual food drive for the West Carleton Food Access Centre. Thank you.”

Residents can drop off non-perishable food items at the ward office at 5670 Carp Rd. from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 :30 p.m. The food drive will collect items up to Dec. 20.

“Please no expired products,” El-Chantiry said. “Let’s make this a Merry Christmas for those in our community who are in need this holiday season.”
