MARATHON VILLAGE – The tiny village of Marathon is inviting you to drop by and have some corn in the park this Saturday (Sept. 14) from noon to 2 p.m.

Hungry community members are invited to the Park on Linda Loop rain or shine. Cobs are 50 cents each and attendees are asked to “bring your chair, bring a side.”

“Come one, come all – residents, former neighbours and friends of Marathon,” organizers released in a statement Sept. 11. “Anyone who has a special connection to this special place.”
