CORKERY – The brand new Corkery Book Club celebrated its most important milestone – one book down.

“The book club has just had their first meeting on Sept. 25 and read The Nanny by Gilly MacMillan,” the Corkery Community Association released in a statement today (Oct. 9). “They are now reading the book The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates.”

Book club will be held every month on the last Wednesday of the month. Although this month, book club will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to avoid a conflict with Hallowe’en preparations.
