Copperdale Golf’s new owners launch grand opening this weekend

DUNROBIN – The course re-opened June 19, but the Copperdale Golf Club’s new owners are naming this weekend their official grand opening.

New owners Dunrobin’s Mike Leaver and Chris Nelski along with Robert Mills and Kim Chicoine took over the course June 1 and hit the ground running. The course originally opened in 1960 as the Edgewood Golf Club, and it’s a name the owners expect to come back to the club next year.

The new owners have been hard at work updating the course and bringing in new equipment. And this weekend will be the new launch with plenty of deals and a fundraiser to boot.

On Friday, July 10 golf the 18-hole course for only a donation to the West Carleton Food Bank. Pay only for your cart.

On Saturday, July 11 Copperdale will host a four-person scramble for $30 a person plus HST. That includes a cart, door prizes, closest to the pin and longest drive contests. On Sunday, July 12 play a round and be entered in to a draw for a 2021 membership – one of two that will be awarded that day.
