ONTARIO – Don Ciparis of Rodney, ON, was acclaimed as the National Farmers Union – Ontario president and NFU Region 3 coordinator at the annual general meeting held Feb. 26 on Zoom.

Also elected to the NFU-O board and NFU Region 3 council were Cheyenne Sundance (Sundance Harvest Farm, Toronto) as youth advisor; Madeline Marmor (Toronto) and Roger Rivest (Nature Lane Farm, Tilbury) as national board members; Brendan Grant (Sleepy G Farm, Pass Lake) and Ken Bassindale (Selkirk) as councillors-at-large.

Arwa de Groot (Mapleton’s Organic, Moorefield) and Max Hansgen (Earth’s Mirth, Lanark) will continue on the board in the second year of their terms.
