Christmas market season in WC starts tomorrow
WEST CARLETON – For those who like to purchase local, unique Christmas presents, the West Carleton market season starts tomorrow.
The 39th Annual Kinburn Christmas Craft Fair starts tomorrow (Nov. 9) and is sure to kick off a great season of giving. The event gets underway at 9 a.m. at the Kinburn Community Centre and goes until 3 p.m.
The following Saturday (Nov. 16) is sure to be a busy day as there are three Christmas craft fairs in West Carleton. The annual Fitzroy Harbour Craft Fair is at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring one of a kind items, locally produced food, home décor, wooden crafts, stocking stuffers and more. There will be raffles and the canteen will be open with a light lunch available for purchase.
The West Carleton Food Access Centre’s annual Carp Christmas Craft Sale will be held at the Carp Agricultural Hall at 3790 Carp Rd. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the WCFAC’s biggest fundraiser of the year and there will be gifts, food and décor for the whole family; a Secret Santa Shop for children under 12 years of age and lots of fee parking. There is also a $5 lunch special available.
Light Up Dunrobin is hosting its first Christmas Craft and Vendor Sale at the Eagle Creek Golf Club from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m..
“There’s a wonderful variety of both crafters and vendors on hand and we welcome you to come shop for the holiday season,” organizers released in a statement.
The Dunrobin craft sale will also be accepting donations for the WCFAC.
