Cheshire Cat to host Blankets and Bands live shows

CARP – Bring your blanket and enjoy the return of live music to the Carp Road corridor as the Cheshire Cat hosts three outdoor concerts to close out September.

The music series is being billed as Blankets and Bands at The Cheshire Cat Pub and will kick off this Saturday (Sept. 19) with Arnprior’s (and former West Carleton resident) Craig Cardiff.

“Looks like a clear cool night for the first of three,” Dustin Therrien released in a statement. “Yes, three blankets and band nights. If you purchase tickets for all three, we will have an awesome concert t-shirt for you.”

Cardiff is a long-time, Juno-nominated musician with roots in West Carlton and millions of streams on Spotify. The Blankets and Bands music series will be held in the Cheshire Cat’s parking lot. Organizers recommend you also bring a lawn chair.

Tickets are $25 per concert. Seating will begin at 7:30 p.m. and seats will be pre-assigned. The concerts are expected to run from 8 to 10 p.m.

Organizers will release the names (and tickets) of the other Blankets and Bands performers after they sell out the Cardiff concert.
