CBCM Christmas Market features 35 vendors
CONSTANCE BAY – Get a little post-Christmas parade shopping in this Saturday (Dec. 7).
Saturday will be a pretty big day in the Bay. It’s the annual Constance Bay Santa Claus Parade which kicks off at 10 a.m. Also kicking off at 10 a.m. is the Constance Bay Community Market’s (CBCM) annual Christmas Market – this year bigger than ever.
The market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the NorthWind Wireless Fibre Centre, 262 Len Purcell Dr.
“The CBCM is pleased to once again partner with the Constance Buckham’s Bay Community Association to host a Christmas Market in conjunction with Santa Day in the Bay,” market manager Cindy Pratt released in a statement. “Visitors will have time to shop for unique and special gifts with more than 35 vendors both before and after the parade and lunch with Santa. As with our outdoor markets, visitors can expect an excellent variety of products and services at the Christmas market.”
Those services and products includ delicious preserves, maple syrup, honey & beeswax products, Christmas cactus, dog cookies, natural soap & body products, an array of practical to whimsical hand-crafted items including pottery, jewellery, leather, fabric, yarn, needle & bead crafts, vinyl applique, wooden furniture and decor, and repurposed glass & china and recycled t-shirt works of art. Local service providers will be on hand to share their skills in massage, yoga and wellness, and to share their products such as ‘Bay Life’ branded clothing, guest kits & gift baskets. Those looking to satisfy their cravings can choose from Thai food, crêpes, decadent baking & goodies and fresh roasted coffee.
“The CBCM’s Christmas Market has something for everyone,” Pratt said. “We look forward to seeing you.”
