Carp Farmers’ Market kicks off Easter
CARP – It’s a long weekend coming up, what better time to take in the first Carp Farmers’ Market of the season.
The Carp Farmers’ Market unofficial start to the season kicks off Saturday, April 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with its annual Easter Market.
This market takes over the buildings on the Carp Fairgrounds as spring weather has been known to be unpredictable. The Easter Market has vendors in the Exhibit Hall and the Agricultural Hall. That being said, not all 70-plus booths are inside as 14 will take on any element outside between the two buildings.
“We are getting so excited for our Easter Market,” market manager Ennio Marcantonio released in a statement. “Our group of 70-plus local Carp market vendors are busy getting ready for what is sure to be a great event – the first taste of the market this year. Check out our vendor list and map to see which of your favourite vendors will be in attendance.
Making their Carp Farmers’ Market debut this coming Saturday are:
• Capener Creations – prepackaged dry soup mixes, dips,
& rubs
• Corad Farms – various cuts of beef
• Essentially Yours – handcrafted diffuser jewelry
• Jambel Cuisine – prepared Jamaican take home food
