Carp Ag Society making Irish stew

CARP – The Carp Agriculture Society (CAS) knows if you take some carrots, potatoes and some beef, and you throw it in a pot, you got a stew going.

The CAS is offering a St. Patrick’s Irish Stew dinner Sunday, March 14 for pick-up only.

“Looking for a homecooked meal without the mess?” the CAS released in a statement Wednesday (Feb. 24). “Place your pre-order for our Irish Stew dinner on our website at www.carpfair.ca or by calling the office 613-839-2172. Let us celebrate early and socially distanced with you.”

The meal is $15 a plate and includes stew, a bun and a cupcake.

Pick up will be Sunday, March 14 between 4 and 6 p.m. from the Carp Agricultural Hall but orders must be in by Thursday, March 11
