The Ottawa Riverkeeper organization is hosting Ask Your Riverkeeper: Beach Edition – a live Facebook event on Aug. 12 starting at noon where you can ask Ottawa Riverkeeper Elizabeth Logue any questions you might have about the historic waterway.

“Is there anything that you have always wanted to know about your watershed?” the Ottawa Riverkeeper released in a statement. “How long does a sturgeon live? How to use the Swim Guide app to know when it’s safe to swim at beaches? Maybe you want to learn more about Ottawa Riverkeeper and how to get involved? If so, this event is for you. Tune into our first ever Ask Your Riverkeeper: Beach Edition where your Riverkeeper, Elizabeth Logue, will be hosting a Facebook Live right on one of our beautiful beaches to answer your questions concerning our incredible waterways and the life that abounds in them.”

Log onto the Ottawa Riverkeeper page on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at noon to be a part of the conversation.

This event will be primarily in English, but tune in next week for the French version.
