CARP – Renovation season is here and this Saturday (June 1), you can have your reno questions answered at ARTium Design Build’s 20th anniversary Open House.

ARTium Design Build Inc., and its downstairs division Just Basements, just announced their 20th anniversary as one of Ottawa’s leading design build, residential, renovation firms. In celebration of this milestone, ARTIUM and Just Basements will be hosting an open house on Saturday, June 1 at their Carp showroom.

“Established in 1999; the founder, Norm Lecuyer, brought a uniquely dynamic set of skills to the Ottawa renovation industry,” marketing coordinator Lindsay Dods said. “Blending a passion for design with a vast and diversified knowledge of residential construction knowledge has allowed ARTium and Just Basements to build hundreds of stunning and functional living spaces for his customers over the last two decades. Over the years the company has worked hard a building a unique company with a unique process, affectionately called the ART of Renovation.”

 The award-winning ARTium and Just Basements has been able to maintain its focus of providing an exceptional renovation experience for customers through steadfastly standing by core values of passion, integrity and teamwork.

 “We have always, and will continue to be, a customer facing company. ARTium and Just Basements has, by design, remained a small company, growing slowing, improving day by day, year by year. Our ultimate goal is to the best at what we do, to offer the highest level of quality and service. We decided long ago we are not interested in being biggest or doing the most projects. That would be a conflict with who we are and who we want to be,” Lecuyer said.

What started 20 years ago as a home based business, now operates out of an attractive showroom and design studio located on 2853 Carp Rd. One of the few, true residential design build firms in Ottawa, with three talented designers on staff, ARTium and Just Basements continues to push the envelope of what is possible in a residential renovations garnering the companies five national design awards in the last two years, two of which were won in the last month.
