ARNPRIOR – Renfrew County’s most recent case of COVID-19 is that of an Arnprior health care worker employed outside of the county.

In the Renfrew County and District Health Unit’s (RCDHU) case summary released Monday (Aug. 31) shows an additional resident in Arnprior tested positive for the virus.

A health care worker from Renfrew who is employed outside of Renfrew County and District is the other active case in the county.

The case summary from the local health unit shows both active cases in the area are in self-isolation.

The RCDHU has confirmed 33 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, 30 are considered resolved and one person has died from complications due to the virus.
