Archie’s stuffing faces for charity

DUNROBIN – Archie’s Chip Stand will be stuffing faces with poutine on Sept. 15 all in the name of charity.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, Archie’s Poutine and BBQ, will be hosting a Parking Lot Party Fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa from noon to 3 p.m.

Head to the corner of Dunrobin and Kinburn Side Road – home of Archie’s and help the popular stand raise money for the kids’ club.

“Come one, come all to the event of the summer and come stuff your face full for charity,” Crystal Childs and Dave Anderson released in a statement. “Archie’s Poutine and BBQ would like to present to you our fundraiser to raise money for the Ottawa Boys and Girls Club specifically our Camp Minwassin/Smitty send a kid to camp in 2020 initiative.”

Archie’s will be serving awesome food from a specific/limited menu with special event pricing “since all proceeds are going to charity.”

Live music will be performed by none other than the talented Luc Brisson. There will be a bouncy castle for the kids.
Currently Archie’s is also looking for interested vendors who might be interested in attending.

“If you’d like to join our parking lot party fundraiser and would like to set up a table let us know,” Childs said. “Invite all your family and friends. The more the merrier. You’ll be supporting an amazing cause and also, you’ll be a part of our pay it forward initiative which is just feels awesome. Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give. We can’t wait to see y’all there.”
