Wellington Brewery Releases Iron Duke Strong Ale and Faces Mosaic & Simcoe DIPA
GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced the return of a favourite beer from the brewery’s early days, and the latest instalment in its Faces series of double IPAs dry-hopped with two different types of hops.
Iron Duke Strong Ale (6.5% abv):
The Duke is back in town! First brewed way back in 1986 this legendary British style strong ale is an all-time favourite that we bring back every winter. With a robust malt character showcasing notes of toffee, caramel, and raisin, Iron Duke is a classic winter warmer!
Faces Mosaic & Simcoe Double IPA (8.5% abv):
Faces Double IPA is budding with bright citrus and fresh mango hop flavours. Featuring Mosaic and Simcoe hops this enticing Double IPA has a creamy malt profile with hints of apricot, fresh berry, and a balanced piney bitterness alongside a punch of juicy hop notes on the finish. Let’s face it, this is one tasty DIPA!
Both beers are available now at the Wellington retail shop and online store, and the new edition of Faces will also be in stock soon at select LCBO locations.
