Serpent Brewing Opens Taproom in Spryfield, Nova Scotia

SPRYFIELD, NS – Several months after soft-launching for pop-up bottle sales and delivery, a brewery focused on Belgian-inspired ales has announced the official opening of its taproom and retail store in Spryfield, a small suburban community in Halifax.

Serpent Brewing has been established by brewer Glen O’Keefe, and opened this past weekend with a beer line-up that includes Patey’s Bier Belgian Single (4.6% abv), Eden Belgian IPA (6.0% abv), White Mountain Witbier (5.5% abv), 33 Belgian Tripel (8.0% abv), and Chocolate Lake Chocolate Chili Porter (4.6% abv), plus The Bite Apple Cider (5% abv) as a non-beer option.

Beers and cider are available by the glass in the taproom, as well as in growlers and 500 ml bottles to go.

Serpent Brewing is located in the rear of the Spryfield Shopping Centre at 16 Dentith Road, and is open Sunday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page.
