Sawdust City Brewing Releases Salted Mango and Blueberry Lavender Kettle Sours
GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced that while it’s annual Funkfest festival has been cancelled for a second year due to COVID-19, it is still celebrating all things sour with a series of four special beer releases.
Following last week’s release of Coriolis Effect Berliner Weisse and Pineapple & Scotch Bonnet Kettle Sour, the third and fourth releases in the series are now available.
Salted Mango Kettle Sour (4% abv):
Salted Mango Kettle Sour brings a nice level of tartness that’s perfectly balanced by the tropical fruit sweetness of mango and the savouriness of salt. Tropical aromas of mango and lemon citrus lead the way while a tart drinkability makes this low abv. kettle sour a serious summer crusher. A salty finish adds an intriguing flavour and a rounded mouthfeel making this Coriolis Effect variant greater than the sum of its parts.
Blueberry Lavender Kettle Sour (4.2% abv):
We ventured out into the lavender fields of Christel Lake Lavender Farms, located in Greenbank Ontario, to harvest fresh lavender for this beer. The sweet floral flavours from the Ontario-grown lavender is balanced with the tart and fruity flavours of blueberries to complete this refreshing yet deceptively complex variant.
All four beers are available now at the Sawdust City retail shop and online store.
