RunTOBeer Hosting Winter Beer School Online Series

TORONTO, ON –  Toronto beer-focused running group RunTOBeer has announced the launch of a new series of online events that offer “a fun, new way to learn about beer.”

Winter Beer School is a 12-week series of Zoom sessions taking place on Thursday evenings, and described as follows:

Each session will be hosted by RUNTOBEER Founder and Beer Educator, Dan Grant, as he is joined by guests representing craft breweries, sharing their wisdom and experience. From Vienna Lagers to Imperial Stouts, Dry-Hopped Kettle Sours to New England Pale Ales, this course will walk you through a wide variety of styles, giving you a deeper appreciation of this most remarkable beverage.

Following a soft launch last week with Great Lakes Brewery, the series will be officially kicking off this Thursday December 3rd with MERIT Brewing presenting and discussing THEN Cab Franc Saison aged on grape skins and featuring vine-smoked malt.

The next two sessions will feature Amsterdam Brewery with Tempest Imperial Stout, and Left Field Brewery explaining Morganna Foeder-Aged Dry-Hopped Kettle Sour.

Future brewery participants will include Muddy York, People’s Pint, Shacklands, Oast House, Longslice, Black Oak, Eastbound, Big Rock, and Craft Brand Co.

Registration for the RunTOBeer Winter Beer School is available online for $60, which includes access to the private Zoom sessions, tasting sheets, and special offers from the participating breweries. While the featured beers are not included as part of registration, they will be available for retail purchase or delivery in Toronto the week of each session.
