TORONTO, ON – Muddy York Brewing has announced that it is once again marking Black Friday with a fan-favourite seasonal strong stout, which is available this year in two special “Private Reserve” editions.

Sherry Barrel-Aged Inkwell Imperial Stout Private Reserve (11.9% abv):

Aged in a Tio Pepe Fino Sherry barrel. This 3 year old Imperial Stout has intense notes of plum, molasses and dried fruit. It’s dark and rich character is like biting into a Guyanese black cake at Christmas.

Port Barrel-Aged Inkwell Imperial Stout Private Reserve (11.9% abv):

Aged for 2 years in an Offley Tawny Port barrel. The unique combination of stout, oak and port combine to bring rich flavours of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry creme, reminiscent of a classic Neapolitan ice cream.

Both editions of Inkwell are available now in 375 ml bottles at the brewery online shop.
