Left Field Brewery Releases 2021 Edition of Southpaw IPA
TORONTO, ON – Left Field Brewery has announced the 3rd annual release of a beer that focuses on the distinctive hops of the southern hemisphere.
Southpaw IPA (7% abv) is described as follows:
Coined from the nickname for left-handed players in the game, Southpaw is a full bodied, super hazy IPA brewed this year with New Zealand Motueka and Taiheke hops for a swirling tropical splash of lemon, lime, grapefruit, and herbal notes to finish. These hops from the southern hemisphere are known for tropical, juicy and complex profiles and are sought out for these qualities. Like any great pitcher, Southpaw has evolved throughout its years in the lineup – brewed with Galaxy and New Zealand Kiwi Blend hops in 2019 and New Zealand Motueka and Taiheke hops, plus oats, in 2020 – this year’s brew has the same great flavour as last year with a slightly higher ABV.
Southpaw IPA is available now at the Left Field retail shop and online store.
