Half Cocked Brewing Reopens in Nova Scotia’s Antigonish County
NORTH GRANT, NS – Almost a year after closing for extensive renovations, Half Cocked Brewing has reopened in North Grant, Nova Scotia, a small community located just a few minutes northeast of Antigonish.
Now featuring a 1200-litre brewing system, a notable increase from the previous 50-litre set up, the brewery relaunched this past weekend with a line-up of eight beers including four of its original brands – Pete’s Sake Blonde (4.7% abv), Darkest One American Stout (6.0% abv), XPA American Pale Ale (6.0% abv), and Cock of the Walk Black IPA (6.5% abv) – plus new additions Sunrise Session Ale (4.4% abv), White Whale Pale Ale (6.6% abv), Haze Fatigue IPA (7.7% abv), and Wait For It Double IPA (8.3% abv).
While currently limited to takeaway growler sales, the new space includes an expanded taproom and patio that will open as soon as local COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
Half Cocked Brewing is located at 1290 Highway 245, and is open from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday to Friday, and 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. For more details, see the brewery’s social media pages.
