Great Lakes Brewery Brings Back Shining Through Centre New England Pale Ale
TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has announced the return of a beer created in collaboration with a local charitable organisation that is dedicated to “enhancing the quality of lives of those living with Autism.”
Shining Through New England Pale Ale (4.3% abv) was originally brewed last year with staff from The Shining Through Centre, as well as two participants in the Centre’s ‘Learn to Live’ program. The resulting beer is described as follows:
This New England Pale Ale pours a very hazy yellow and is topped with a snowy white peak. Aromas of honeydew melon, white grape and mango are prominent with each sniff of the glass. Light to medium bodied with a soft yet noticeable bitterness, Shining Through NE Pale Ale offers subtle notes of fresh tangerine, more melon and a touch of lemon. Lots of flavour packed into a low abv offering.
Shining Through NEPA will be available at 6:30 PM today (March 30th) via the Great Lakes online store, and tomorrow at 11:00 AM in the brewery retail store. $1 from each can sold will support the Shining Through Centre.
