Burdock Brewery Releases Super Gold Dry Lagered Ale and Three Dry-Hopped Sour

TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release two can-conditioned ales, one new and the other returning.

Super Gold (4.5% abv) is brand new, and described as follows:

Super Gold is a can-conditioned brut (read: super dry) lagered ale. Fermented cool with our house ale strain, lightly dry-hopped (very lightly) with Tettenanger, and can-conditioned for micro bubbles. Super gold is super dry, refreshing, and excuse us for using an outdated term… highly crushable. Expect tiny tantalizing bubbles and soft notes of bread, biscuits, fresh melon and majestic healing herbs

Three (5.5% abv) is back after a three year absence, and has the following notes:

Say “Hi again!” to Three – our can-conditioned dry-hopped sour beer! Brewed with pilsner malt, Ontario oats & wheat, and dry-hopped with equal parts Citra and Helga. Three is a tart, citrusy little guy that is designed to drink like lemonade pop. Expect notes of grapefruit, lemon rind, & pineapple.

Super Gold and Three are available now at the Burdock retail shop and online store.
