TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of a “barrel-aged super rare super saison”.

Madeira Saison (9% abv) is described as follows:

Madeira Saison is one of the all-time oldest beers we’ve ever released! It was aged in a Madeira-type wine barrel from Southbrook for 2.5 years, then bottle conditioned for another year and change. Madeira is a type of fortified wine, and this super-saison definitely has fortified energy. You’re going to want to cozy up next to the fireside (or fire log tv channel) and share this with a house member. Clocking in at deceptive 9% abv, it’s a vinous saison with a pinch of tannin that’s packing a bag of creme caramel, tootsie roll, & hot apple pie.

Madeira Saison is available now in a limited run of 483 x 375 ml bottles via the Burdock online store for delivery and curbside pick-up orders.
